Year 2 had an exciting day out at the National Space Centre on Thursday. The children enjoyed exploring the different exhibits and discovering exciting facts about space.
Highlights included an astronaut show in the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium, going into to astronaut training centre, making their own real life weather report and ascending the rocket tower in the glass lift to learn about more about the moon and the moon landings.
They even got to see a real piece of moon rock. Everyone had an enjoyable day and it was a wonderful end to our topic on Space.
