In our Geography lesson, Y2 have been learning to recognise what human and physical features are. We walked around our local town, to see how many of those features we can see. We used a map to follow our route and plot any human and physical features that were not on the map. https://t.co/nvl4xDRCak
Year 2 continue learning about Ghana and Wisbech. We are investigating the climates in both. In the next few weeks, we will be measuring the rainfall in Wisbech. The children made and set up the rain gauges. These will help us to see how much rain falls across this period. https://t.co/cwVFwEQ8qO
We have had a wonderful donation of breakfast groceries, from Jane Bates, Wisbech Asda Community Champion, today. This will be added to our foodbank, ready to help our families during these difficult times. Thank you for generosity. #asdacommunitychampion https://t.co/HkbYrSHxRF
In our Health and Fitness work in PE, Year 5 learnt about their heart rate and how to measure it. We took their pulse for 30 seconds and counted how many beats per minute at resting. After some intense exercise, they took their heart rate again to see any differences. https://t.co/3vKo4E2IxK
Thank you to everyone for being generous over the last few weeks. Parents have donated to our hampers, donations from The Mayor and Wisbech Tweet, and Christmas presents to pass onto some of our children. We are so lucky to have wonderful people to support Peckover School.
Please can you help us? We have two gorgeous 8ft real trees that are desperately looking for a wonderful home for Christmas. Please share around - we can't bear the thought of them being lonely over the festive period! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org https://t.co/MxeTc3RG96
We are looking to expand our after school offer and are wanting to work with specialised sports teachers. Please email email@example.com if this is something you able to offer. https://t.co/LlhrokGIES
