Intrepid traveller Mr Kett talks about his adventures

Thanks to Mr Brian Kett for talking to our Year 2 students about his travel adventures, including riding on elephants and visiting the Taj Mahal.

Thanks to Mr Brian Kett for talking to our Year 2 students about his travel adventures, including riding on elephants and visiting the Taj Mahal.

He brought in lots of photographs to share with the students and they loved hearing his stories and asked lots of questions. It is the second time that he has come in to talk to the children.

Last time he was a ‘lion expert’ talking about the lions on safari in Africa to help the children with their research on their Big Cats project. As well as travels in France, India and Africa, he has also been to many places in Australia and North America, which the students found on a world map.

Teacher Leonie Goodale said: ‘It was a really wonderful session and the children were so engrossed with what he had to say asking him where his favourite place was and why and where would he like to go next. They’re really hoping he comes back to tell us all about his trip to Austria where he’s heading this week to visit some traditional Christmas markets.’
