Compass Primary School

Peckover goes to the pantomime

All of the students and staff from Peckover Primary School got in the Christmas spirit as they enjoyed the classic Christmas pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

All of the students and staff from Peckover Primary School got in the Christmas spirit as they enjoyed the classic Christmas pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

The school booked 440 tickets for the show at King’s Lynn Corn Exchange and everyone had an amazing afternoon watching intrepid Jack doing battle with Giant Blunderbore, in a cast also comprising Dame Trott, Simple Simon and Clarabelle the cow.

Principal’s PA Mrs Helen Foad said: ‘It was a treat for the whole school and it was lots of fun. The highlight of the show was the giant who stood about 15 to 20ft high. It was an amazing spectacle and the special effects were fantastic.’

The trip was co-ordinated by Vice Principal Kate Kendal and it was the first time that the entire school and support staff had gone on a trip like this. It was so successful that it might become a regular fixture in the school calendar. Oh, no it won’t … oh yes it will!

Peckover Primary school would like to thank students, teachers and support staff for all their efforts this year in making Peckover such a happy and successful school. We’d like to wish everyone, staff, students, parents and carers all the best for Christmas and the New Year. Looking forward to welcoming our students back safely in 2018 for another action-packed year of learning and fun at Peckover!
