As part of their topic on 'African Adventure' Year 3 students visited Banham Zoo.

Although it was a wet and miserable day in Banham, it didn’t stop us from having a fantastic day! We had a talk from an animal expert about animals and their habitats and got to stroke animals such as an African land snail, hissing cockroach and even a snake!

Exploring the zoo was so much fun and seeing animals such as giraffes, zebras and cheetahs really brought our learning to life. Some of the children even got the chance to watch the tigers being fed. Everyone had a wonderful day and really enjoyed themselves.
