Peckover School offers support and signposting to children and families regarding behaviour, attendance, medical issues, bereavement counselling, mental health support, foodbank, finances and general pastoral care. Parents are welcome to make an appointment with Mrs Tombleson (Inclusion Manager) or Mrs Howell (Pastoral Officer) to discuss any problems or concerns that they may need support with. All meetings are confidential with a view to further support from external agencies when necessary.
Working alongside Mrs Tombleson is Jurate Trumpickiene our Education Inclusion Family Advisor. Jurate works closely with Peckover School and supports parents with many issues, holding meetings in school, as well as at pupil’s homes. Jurate is happy to receive emails and phone calls from parents and will meet on request.
The school operates a nurture group to support pupils in school who need a little extra pastoral care and also an ‘Eagles’ lunchtime club to help support pupils to have successful lunchtimes.
