At Peckover Primary School, we value the opportunity for every child to take part in a wide variety of sporting activities that promote health, confidence, and enjoyment. Through the PE and Sport Premium funding, we are committed to developing physical education and sport across the school in line with the five key indicators. We aim to ensure that all pupils engage in regular physical activity, raising the profile of PE and sport as a vital part of school life and overall wellbeing. Our staff continue to build their confidence, knowledge and skills in delivering high-quality PE lessons, while offering pupils a broader experience of different sports and activities to spark lifelong interest and participation. Finally, at Peckover, we believe that competition and teamwork play an important role in personal growth, and we actively encourage pupils to take part in competitive sport, both within school and against other schools in our community.

We are committed to spending our PE and Sport Premium budget in ways that provide children with access to a wide variety of sporting experiences. This includes investing in specialist coaches, high-quality equipment, and opportunities to compete in both intra-school tournaments and inter-school events, ensuring every child can discover and develop their passion for sport.
