Beyond the Classroom

At Peckover, we love to take our learning outside of the classroom.  We passionately believe in giving children amazing experiences that will help them to make memories that will stay with then far beyond Year 6.

These experiences include trips and visitors that link to our curriculum, but we also like to provide opportunities for them to participate in a wide range of activities.  These include visiting London to see shows in the West End, being part of Peckfest, our summer festival or the chance to experience sports that they may wish to pursue, like Archery and Bouncercise. In Key Stage 2, we invite the children to be part of Young Voices and become part of a children's choir of 9,000 people, performing at the O2 Arena. 

In Year 6 and Year 4, we also give our children the chance to experience a residential trip, to the North Norfolk Coast and Burwell House.

Running alongisde our curriculum is our offer of 50 Before Year 7.  These are 50 things that we feel every child should experience before they are 11 years old.
